Alex Umekubo

Hello! I’m Alex, a theatre maker that is focused in the Production Management and Stage Management side of arts. I’m excited to start working professionally post-grad after earning my degree at Loyola University Chicago, and am hoping to find jobs on stage management teams and in arts admin roles.
I pride myself on maintaining a positive and focused rehearsal room, and enjoy finding the balance of having fun while also getting down to business. From my experience as a stage manager and as an Eagle Scout, I’m a confident leader and always make an effort to lead by example and never ask someone to do something that I wouldn’t do.
I love collaborating with others on projects, and seeing efforts through to completion. I’m always game to learn and grow and will jump into new experiences with excitement!
